monastery of Panagia Evangelistria (Virgin Mary), situated in the highest peak, just 129 meters. The monastery is dedicated to Virgin Mary and built in 1825 when the icon of Panagia was found at the root of an olive tree.<\/p>\n<p>The monastery is well-preserved and some of its wonderful cells are functional and offered for accommodation at an extremely low price.
